01Scope
This policy describes how CardSaver handles information we collect through this website and through the sales, onboarding, and support work tied to our merchant services.
Sponsoring banks and processing partners handle payment processing, card authorization, and settlement. Their own privacy notices and agreements govern the information they handle in that role.
02Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly, plus limited technical information about your visit.
- Contact details you submit, like your name, business name, email, and state
- Business details you share, like industry, monthly card volume, and current provider
- Correspondence and support records tied to your inquiry or account
- Standard technical data like browser type, device type, referring page, and pages viewed
03How we use information
We use this information to answer your questions, prepare pricing analyses, complete merchant applications with sponsoring banks and processors, provide ongoing support, and meet our legal and card network obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use cardholder account data for marketing.
04Sharing
We share information only when we need to in order to deliver our services or follow the law.
- Sponsoring banks, processors, and gateway providers involved in your program
- Hardware and software vendors needed to deploy and support your equipment
- Service providers who work on our behalf and are bound to keep it confidential
- Regulators, card networks, or authorities when the law requires it
05Cardholder data
This website doesn't accept or store cardholder account numbers. Card data captured at the point of sale is handled by PCI-validated devices and processing platforms, and it's encrypted and tokenized outside our systems.
06Retention and security
We keep information as long as we need it to provide our services and meet legal, tax, audit, and card network recordkeeping requirements. After that, we dispose of it securely.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
07Your choices
You can ask to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, and you can opt out of marketing at any time. We must keep certain records when the law or our banking and network obligations require it.
If you live in a state with its own privacy laws, you may have additional rights, including the right to know what information we collect and the right not to be treated unfairly for exercising those rights.
08Children
Our services are meant for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
09Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our practices or the applicable rules change. We'll update the date above whenever we make a material change.
